Global investor buys more buildings at LakeView Corporate Park

Global real estate firm EQT Exeter added to its collection of southeast Wisconsin industrial buildings with a recent $42 million purchase.

The company already owns more than 300 acres of the LakeView Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie, along with several other industrial properties in the region. Its latest purchase included 460,000 square feet, all fully leased, across six properties. Those were sold by an affiliate of New York real estate firm KKR & Co. Inc., according to state records that also reported the sale value. KKR had acquired the properties in late 2020 for $41.5 million.

Five of the buildings are in LakeView Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie, and the final is at 1101 S. Sylvania Ave. at the GrandView Business Park in Sturtevant.

The six buildings were originally developed by Milwaukee real estate firm Zilber Property Group, which sold them in 2019 as part of a broader portfolio deal.

EQT Exeter through several multibillion-dollar investment funds is a global player in industrial and other forms of real estate. It recently reported holding more than 2,500 properties valued at more than $30 billion globally. Earlier this year, the firm acquired a 400,000-square-foot industrial building in Bristol in Kenosha County.
