Developer pitches 106-room WoodSpring Suites hotel in Pleasant Prairie

A developer could start construction this fall on a 106-room WoodSpring Suites extended-stay hotel in Pleasant Prairie.

The four-story lodging facility is proposed on a 2-acre lot at 115th Avenue at 77th Street, just south of the Cooper’s Hawk restaurant that opened recently, in Pleasant Prairie’s Riverview Commercial development, village records show. Twins Management Group, a multi-state hotel and restaurant operator and developer, would run the hotel under a franchise agreement with Choice Hotels International.

The WoodSpring Suites brand targets guests staying from about a week to a month in rooms equipped with kitchens, according to a project narrative. Guests average about 15 nights per stay.
