The ‘Mother of all Warehouses’ — Uline WQ Warehouse and Distribution Center

The largest warehouse in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the U.S., Uline Inc.’s WQ warehouse and distribution center in Kenosha is nicknamed the “Mother of all Warehouses.”

It’s a fitting moniker for the 1.44 million-square-foot facility that boasts more than 33 acres of warehouse space on a 179-acre site. The massive structure opened in December 2024 and is among the top 20 largest warehouses in the nation.

The new warehouse is intended to support growing demand and enhance Uline’s ability to deliver products efficiently across North America. It will house a large portion of Uline’s extensive product catalog, which includes more than 40,000 items.

Expected to create more than 200 jobs — including warehouse associates, managers and facilities staff roles — the facility features modern amenities like on-site fitness center and cafe.

Construction started in 2023 on the massive facility, which was built with 522 precast panels that contain more than 16.3 miles of precast caulking joints. It also features 1,266 skylights and 297 loading dock doors, and the building perimeter is just over one mile in length.
