Continental Properties breaks ground on 326-unit apartment complex in Bristol

Construction has started on more than 300 apartments in Kenosha County.

Continental Properties, a firm that develops apartment communities in multiple states, on Thursday announced it broke ground on Springs at Bristol, a 326-unit development southwest of Highway 50 and Interstate 94 in Bristol.

Menomonee Falls-based Moore Construction Services and Fond du Lac-based Excel Engineering are the general contractor and architect respectively.

The developer said pre-leasing at the complex is expected to begin in spring 2027. Completion of an amenity clubhouse and the first residential building are expected to be completed around June 2027.

Units will be spread across 15 buildings, and the development will have around 324,359 rentable square feet, a spokesperson for Continental Properties said.

In its proposal to the village, the developer said the property will have 24.6 acres of residential area and 1.8 acres of conservancy area, according to village of Bristol Plan Commission minutes from June 24. There would be a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, said Lexy Goetsch, a development associate at Continental Properties.
