1665 Penny Lane LLC, an affiliate of Lisle, Illinois-based RE Development Solutions, Inc. plans to build a 108-unit apartment building at 743-745 Sheridan Road along Lake Michigan in the Kenosha County Village in Somers, according to plans submitted to the village’s Plan Commission. 

The apartment development planned for the vacant 5-acre site would feature 12 studio units, 56 one-bedroom units and 40 two-bedroom units. 

Amenities would include a grilling station, fire pit, playground, viewing pavilion, beach pathway with rest area and dog park. In addition, 234 parking spaces would be provided, the documents said. 

Kenosha-based Partners in Design Architects is the design firm for the project.
