Ta Chen International, Inc., a Taiwan-based distributor of stainless steel and aluminum coils, sheets, plates, long products, tubes and PVFs, has acquired its Pleasant Prairie industrial facility for $87 million, according to state records.

The 736,298-square-foot facility is located on a 36-acre site at 8500 109th St. in the LakeView Corporate Park.

Ta Chen moved into the facility in 2014 when it was 471,000 square feet in size. A 265,298-square-foot addition was added around late 2019 and early 2020.

The building was sold to Ta Chen by an affiliate of Stockholm, Sweden-based EQT Partners Inc., a private market firm, which bought the building for $81 million in 2022 as part of a $345 million portfolio deal of seven LakeView Corporate Park buildings sold by Oak Brook, Illinois-based CenterPoint Properties, which developed the 8500 109th St. building in a joint venture with Wispark LLC.
