The former Jelly Belly warehouse and retail facility in Pleasant Prairie has been sold for $17.75 million.
According to an announcement from Milwaukee-based real estate services firm The Barry Co., the 248,098-square-foot industrial building, located at 10100 Jelly Belly Lane/Serpe Way, sits on 46 acres and was sold recently to an entity called 9th and Main LLC, as an investment purchase.
The property was formerly owned by California-based Rowland Family Properties LP, according to Kenosha County records. The Rowland family owned and led Jelly Belly for generations, but sold the company in 2023.
California-based Jelly Belly Candy Company, which makes jelly beans and other candy, closed operations at the Pleasant Prairie facility in 2020.
The building is currently fully occupied by Rust-Oleum and SMT Packaging, which will remain as tenants in the building under the new ownership.
“Strategically positioned in a high-growth corridor serving both the greater Chicago and greater Milwaukee markets, the property benefits from strong regional industrial demand, excellent transportation access and a deep labor pool,” The Barry Co. said in the announcement.
