A partnership with Gateway Technical College allows KABA to offer three Masters Certificate Programs that each lead to six credit hours of advanced standing toward a Gateway Technical College Associate’s Degree in Management. Each individual course involves six two-hour classroom sessions, or twelve hours of instruction. These programs include:

Supervisory Management:

The study of basic supervisory responsibility. Appropriate for various levels of supervisors who may be new to the supervisory role. Topics covered include: the concepts of management, the basic qualifications of a good supervisor or manager, discipline, communication and motivation. (Supervision I, II, III, and 3 Elective Courses are required to complete the Master’s Certificate).

Human Resource Management:

These courses help participants acquire the knowledge and skills needed to competently manage a company’s human resources. They focus on the function of today’s human resources manager, the organizational contributions expected from HR, and how to integrate with organizational goals. (Human Resources I, II, III, and 3 Elective Courses are required to complete the Master’s Certificate).

Quality Specialist:

Grounded in the American Society of Quality (ASQ), these courses provide an introduction to the background and philosophy of quality management. Principles, theories and practical application are studied in depth. (Quality Specialist I, II, III, and 3 Elective Courses are required to complete the Master’s Certificate).

Register Early! Programs are filled on a first-come, first served basis. The sooner you register for a program, the greater the likelihood that there will be space available and we can accommodate you. When you register late you run the risk of the program being full, or you may find that the class has been cancelled due to low registration. Early registration helps both of us!

Training Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted until 5 p.m. five business days prior to the program. Cancellations made with less than five days notice and “no-shows" will be invoiced for the total registration fee. Substitutions are accepted at any time. KABA will confirm your registration at least two days before the program or course will be held. If you do not receive confirmation by that time, please contact us to ensure that your registration was received.

Training Incentive Programs: The Kenosha Area Business Alliance believes that a well-trained work force is an efficient work force. We also understand the efforts employers make to consistently improve their bottom line. To show our commitment to these needs, we are proud to offer Training Incentive Programs. The programs provides three ways to save on quality training: Frequent Training Program, Pre-paid Training Program, and Training Referral Program. Please refer to the program flyer for additional information.
